Loraine is an Associate Attorney at Pena Garcia PLLC, where her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense, with an emphasis on general liability, premises liability, and motor vehicle accident claims. She represents clients in a variety of personal injury and liability matters, assisting in the development of effective litigation strategies and the defense of claims.
Prior to joining Pena Garcia PLLC, Loraine practiced at a boutique law firm, where she concentrated on defending agencies of the State of Florida in personal injury litigation. Her experience representing governmental entities provided her with a strong foundation in liability defense and the complexities involved in litigating personal injury claims.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Loraine earned her undergraduate degree in Political Science, with honors, from Florida International University. She subsequently obtained her Juris Doctor from St. Thomas University School of Law in Miami, Florida, in 2018.
During law school, Loraine gained valuable legal experience through internships with nonprofit organizations providing free civil legal services to low-income individuals and families throughout Miami-Dade and Broward counties. These experiences contributed to her understanding of the legal process and reinforced her commitment to professionalism and client representation.
Born and raised in Cuba, Loraine is fluent in English and Spanish. Outside of her legal practice, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and inshore fishing.
